LT and Martin are the closest to "locks."

Alexander is next, followed Tiki, then by the rest.

Each of these guys, except for Martin will need at least two more solid 1500 yard seasons. 10,000 yards is close to a lock, unless it comes in very workman like fashion; with no rings - no dice.

Remember, Terrell Davis had some monster years, including a league MVP, Super Bowl MVP, two rings, and a 2000 yards season, and they say he has virtually no chance.

Technically Priest Holmes should be considered current. He hasn't retired yet. He has an outside shot.

Martin and Tomlinson are almost guaranteed in the Hall of Fame.
Alexander is next with Dillion
Tiki Barber i would put TIki up higher if he was in for 1 more year, instead of retiring at the end of this season, because his first few years he didnt do so well
James is on his way...except he's been doing crap this year while being on the cards. i think he really has to turn things around there to get into the Hall of fame

I think we could see Curtis Martin getting in. I also think Ladanian is a lock. Corey Dillon is a maybe. Does anyone else think he is playing in slow motion? Shaun Alexander needs a couple more good seasons to lock it up, but having the TD record is a good start. Tiki Barber could be a no if he retires now. But if he finishes the year strong he could get in. Edgerrin James is a no for me right now. If he has a better year with Arizona next season then he has a shot. It's a list of good runners, but LT stands out as the lone great one, for me.

Tomlinson, Alexander and Barber, definately. Not so certain on the rest. Dillon has won with New England, but he was simply a cog in the Patriot wheel that year.

Martin and Tomlinson are in for sure, and probably Alexander as well. James has to revive his career, he has kinda fallen off the map in Arizona. Dillon is a question mark, as is Barber, especially if he retires this year.

Def Curtis Martin, he's practically already in.
LT will have to die tomorrow to not make it in at the pace he is going.
Corey Dillon has a chance, but I wouldn't bet on it.

As for the others, they still have a lot of proving to do, and if Tiki retires, he will not make it.

Also, I believe Marshall Faulk is still on St. Louis' IR, and I think he has a very good chance of making it.

great choices...Dillon and James are not shoe ins.

I'm going with some younger dudes...Lawerance Maroney and Cedric Benson.

Just wait till the Bears start giving Benson 20+ carries a game!

Probably:
Curtis Martin
LaDainian Tomlinson
Shaun Alexander
Tiki Barber

As for a young pick:
If Frank Gore can keep up what he has been doing the last few weeks then he will make it some day too.
