I think he is the most overrated and overpaid player. He has 3 lost fumbles this year when no one even hit him.

I agree, and he also has poor social skills and manners. I thank God that he was supposed to end up in San Diego, but we got the mighty L.T. instead. What a great deal!!!!

the only thing that is overrated about Mike Vick is the attention that he gets. If he was not talked about sooo much people would look at him differently. There is not 1 QB out there that has perfect games, perfect seasons, or is the best ever. He is only over rated because of the publicity that he gets from everyone. He has to try so hard to live up to the media. See how well you work under that pressure!!!!

In some cases, yes. When people start going on about how good his arm is after he throws for one good game, they are overrating him. However, in most cases people only give him credit for being a good running quarterback, which he is, despite poor ball control, in those cases he is not being overrated.
As far as him sucking...He has had better years, passing wise, but he is on pace to shatter every rushing record for QB's this year. I am sorry the Falcons are losing, and Vick is responsible for his part as are his team mates, but Vick is a dangerous quarterback, and if you don't want him, as a forty niner fan, I'd be happy to trade Alex Smith for him...

vick has a powerful arm and throws lasers all over the place, but has no touch on his passes and can't really seem to control the way he throws the ball to where it needs to go. however his has imporved his throwing alot since last year, and Its not really Vick's Fault for losing. Vick doesnt have any WRs, aside from Crumpler. Vick is trying to do everthing to win the games, and when his WRs are dropping passes all over the place, he take off and run to try to win the game himself. i think that much better than throwing the ball to guys that can't catch

ron mexico, aka michael vick is a fast weapon for ATL. as far as bieng overrated, their is some speculation as to how good he actually is. Vick is not a pocket QB, be evades defenders and that is his specialty. He is definatley over rated.

With all due respects to the man's athletic gifts, he isn't a quarterback. He is a running back who also happens to throw a football.

I honestly think that he never learned to properly check down like other veteran quarterbacks because he runs after his primary reciever is covered.
