That was hardly a winter storm....more like a winter awakening.
With the others....I love it....not only is it beautiful but it gives the air a crisp feeling. We, Midwesterners, are more familiar with snow and do not allow it to stop our show!!! Heck, this one didn't even force the snowblower out of storage. Like the above reply stated, I got to actually use the four wheel drive on my Jeep....not because of the weather because of those out of town drivers downtown that do not know how to handle snow driving. Best thing about Chicago is that the main streets are plowed quickly first.....rarely a time when the plowing is done by rush hour. MY KIND OF TOWN CHICAGO IS!!!! This snow will be gone by Monday anyway!!!!

It was a short storm of one night. We all got thruogh it without a second thought! For those not from this area, you probably would not know how to get through it as well.We are used to it and it does not stop us just makes us have more fun with buying snowmobiles and such! Have any of you out of towners ever ridden a snowmobile?A sled? Lots of fun!

its done now and its not that bad of a storm. its amazing how people 9who live here their whole life) still dont know how to drive in this weather. the only thing delaying me to work this morning was slow drivers in front of me. Its like nobody in ths city has ever seen snow before.

Nope. The snow stopped. it's no big deal. If you've lived her all your life, like I have, you know how to deal with it. This is nothing. People have to learn to suck it up and keep going. The only problem is a little bit of slush that gets in your shoes sometimes. I like it. I get to occasionally use the 4 wheel drive on my Jeep.

Yes. And that's to be expected in Chicago in December. I love it! I'm hoping for a white Christmas.
