I am unsure of how old either of you are, but maybe he got embarrased for a numerous amount of reasons. Young guys are more immature than girls and maybe he was embarrase of what his friends may think, or maybe he said no because his parents wont let him or maybe even because YOU asked him and HE didn't ask you. I think you should pull him aside and ask him why he didn't want to go out with you and if he still asks like an @$$ then find you another guy! ;)

He very well could like you more than you know, Maybe he likes you so much but he wants to preserve those feelings, and dating you he might be afraid that the spark and magic will not lingre as long. Give him time and still doeverything you are doing, and in time he will ask you.

Ask him why not? Tell him you enjoy his company and would like to get to know him better. If he says no again, move on.

Maybe his parents won't let him go out, and maybe he does have a crush but doesn't want to date you.... Or another spin, maybe you're imagining it? YOu never know......How old are you?
