Zica - I have to say its my family. I have four children, nine grandchildren, my parents and my companion. I think also a few dear friends. This is something that has been tested for me and I truly believe they were what kept me from giving up on life. GBU

a lot of people are answering that their kids keep them going. i agree. my kids give me a lot of motivation to do my best and keep going. life gives us lots of reasons. i'm always finding new ways to 'stop and smell the roses.' sometimes it's something that makes me laugh. sometimes it's literally roses, which i do stop and smell sometimes. all the good times i've had encourage me to keep on seeking more good times. the bad times are discouraging but so far there has been light at the end of all those tunnels. sometimes it looks like things couldn't get any worse but if you think that, you're wrong. if you're still alive to wonder, then things could get worse. i have thought it more times than i can remember and i've been wrong every time. what seems like a major catastrophe right now will seem so insignificant to you at some point in the future that you will wonder why you ever worried about it. i guess hope for a better future is what keeps me going when the present isn't how i want it to be. the knowledge that i have control of my destiny drives me to shape it to suit me.

Small things.
I suppose that my faith in God is the real drive behind all I do.
My husband, my children, family, friends.
Every day and in every way I'm getting better and better.
I am intrinsically motivated.
The drive is just there.
It's not able to be described.
I like a clean house.
I like a carefree life.
That drives me to be the best I can possibly be each and every day.
Also starting each day over from the beginning.
Desire is what keeps me going.
That and lots of faith and good family around me all the time.
Peace, joy, and love.

Honestly, nothing but the fact that I have to keep going. If I had a choice, my life would be about pleasure. I'd drink every day, smoke up when I want, and spend what I please.
Unfortunately for me I have responsibilities that would just not get done any other way if I didn't take care of them. I have to keep going not for me but for those who count on me. It is a selfless life indeed, but definately not a waste of life.

the dream,
not a dream but the dream. The one God gave me for my life, it gives me purpose, meaning, and all the drive in the world. I caught the vision when i was twelve and it is so jumpstarted my life that it pushed me through highschool and out of a broken past. Now I'm preparing for seminary college, marriage, adoption, and missionering in the Philippines.

(my chauffer must win the Best Answer on this one)...What drives me is the will to be better every day, to achieve all my goals, to become one of the richest men on the face of earth and latter my country's prime minister, to make people's life better,to leave this world a better place as I found it..and finally I would like to have a castle/manor house in Ireland, a chalet on the mountain in Switzerland or Austria, a villa in Italy, a home in London and to travel a lot

It may seem odd but the things that I do motivates me to get them done. When I know what needs to be done, I encourage myself to get up and do it because whatever needs to be done is a reward all its own because it's a necessity for me, my family, and those around me.
