Hotmail live to be precise. Everytime I try and go into mine it asks me to retype my password, over and over again. I've even tried changing my password but it doesn't help. What can be causing this and how can I stop it and finally access my inbox? There's not even an option to switch back to the old version!

-Delete your temp internet files
-Delete the cookies from live.com and msn.com
(Or ala cookies if you don't know how to delete single cookies here the cookies stored at C:\Documents and Settings\USERNAME\Cookies )
-use http://www.hotmail.com for login, not http://mail.live.com

After going through similar problems with hotmail, i quit using it. It let me change back, but I still had problems signing in - it would tell me I was using the wrong password, etc.

Go into online help through hotmail - you will eventually get to a place where it says contact us. Tell them about what is going on and ask them to respond to a different email address. Maybe that will help. But I would rather revert to snail mail than use hotmail. Too many problems.

most problems you experience with emails or your internet connection is normally caused by your internet service provider (isp) messing about with stuff or a genuine fault at there end but they will always say the fault is your end.
