Get nero 7. Download the trail from www.nero.com and then register it with a serial number from www.theserials.com and search for nero 7 and you'll see some serial numbers. Type it in when you open up nero 7 and you're all set!

Some DVD's contain copy protection and are difficult to copy, but this web site offers several free trial programs: www.mrbass.org/dvdrip/ Nero 7 Ultra Edition costs money. but it does a good job --- from www.Nero.com They also have a trial version download.

This is a touchy topic because as mentioned, there is copyright protection on almost any film. However, there is a program called DVD decrypt (-er?). with this program, it overrides the copyright protect and you can then save it to your computer. In conjunction with this, you will need a converter program to put it in a good format. My preference is Videora Ipod converter; however, there are many others out there.

Try using DVDShrink - it's free and works very well to copy movies to your PC. It's fairly stright forward, you just "open" the disk, then back it up to your PC. You can also use DVD shrink to watch the DVDs you backup.
