There is also a reasonablely priced Holiday Inn, on Lakeside Ave downtown thats a five minute walk to the R&R Hall, and easy to get into and out of - near the rapid as well. Not far from the club districts either.

Motel 6 or Red Roof in.They are both on Bagely road.Interstate 71 South Exit 235.It`s just a small drive from R&R but I would not stay at any motels any closer to the R&R not unless if you stay at the hotel next to the Terminal Tower in downtown Cleveland off of Superior.Got to be rich to sleep there.

The Hyett Grand Regency Hotel is a nice hotel. But If you are looking for something fancey and exspensive then the Ritz Carlton right under Tower City. Both are in the downtown area.

You can check on hotwire.com, or priceline.com and choose hotel, Cleveland, downtown. If you choose 3-4 stars level, you will get nice hotels for low prices.
I just checked hotwire.com around the Holiday, and get $69 for 3,5 stars level. Be careful, this is pre-negotiated rate, no cancellation, no return, and they do not name the hotel, but 3.5 is Crowne Plaza or Hilton.
Enjoy Cleavland, it has good public transportation
