Well the main difference is that C.Ronaldo is steal young and he can develop his skills to become great player, opposite of Cannavaro who is at the end of his career and he NEVER was, is or will be great player!!!!!!

Cannavaro is 33 years old and he won his FIRST big award, if he was that good before, why he didn't won nothing, he is very good defender but he is not even close to the best ones....... players in the WC are highly motivated and are on adrenalin every game, even Arsene Wenger said that he would never buy a player that was playing good in the WC because of the reasons I said, Tevez and Mascherano were one of the best in the WC and look how are they playing now!!!!!

Maradona Jr what r u talkin about!? cannavaro never was a great player? (unless ur being sarcastic with ur answer) r u sure we are talkin about Fabio Cannavaro?! and not his brother Paolo Cannavaro!? cuz the last time i checked the ballon D'or was won by cannavaro, and he won the second best player at the worldcup, and he is one of the world's top 3 players (nominated for the fifa world cup player of the year along ith ronaldinho and zidane)...and honestly..for those who say that C.ronaldo is not talented, they really dont know what they are talkin about.....or maybe ur just jealous cuz u support arsenal or something...but c.ronaldo is one hell of a talent...and possibly the best winger in the world....watching him charge down the right flank is the best sights u can see in football these days! he is fantastic!

well..if the comparison were the criteria that you've mentioned then both of them were typically same player...
they become celebrity in their life...
but if i should choose...i more like Canna, he's much more normal than Cristiano...maybe because Canna was more old than this Portuguese guy...so Canna looks more mature n calm...
in other side Cristiano still act like most young player...(you know what they did...)
