Yes, it's normal to be scared. But just remember that things will get better as you go. Do your best and the teachers shouldn't have anything to complain about.

First of all, as a high school teacher, let me tell you. Yes, it is quite normal to be scared to enter high school. Now, as far as grades are concerned. Grades go up and down all the time, yes you could be failing in one week but then the next week you could be passing with an A. The rules are differnet and, in many cases, stricter; just learn them and move on. My best advice for you is to avoid doing anything that may get you in trouble and definitely keep up with the work in all your classes.

People tend to over exagerate reality. Teachers told me the same thing about college and it isn't the difficult. Every new experience seems scary at first because of the uncertainty of what you are going to face, but you have to try to be optimistic and think of the new things that you are going to be trying out. Yes, there might be more work than what was given to you in middle school, but as you grow wherever you go people are going to expect more from you, so all you have to do is work hard and try your best. Remember, high school might be more educationally demanding, but you will be meeting tons of new people and be able to participate in different activities that will make you grow as a person, so don't let your fear paralize you.

The rumors about getting thrown interior the garbage can and getting beat up are pretend i replaced into in severe college for 4 years and under no circumstances something occurred to me.

Walk in like you owned the place! That's what my dad used to tell me. I was a wreck going to a new school, being a freshman and all. Perfectly normal! So just try and keep a smile on your face and don't believe everthing you hear. Make up your own mind about the teachers. They had one in my school, they called the "dragon", a civics teacher who was supposed to be THE meanest, hardest, most critical teacher there! Turned out she was so nice! So hang in there, it WILL be ok!Good luck!

Of course it's okay to be scared. When you're in middle school, high school seem like this big, grown up world and you feel like you have to be so cool and fit in and be popular. I know it sounds cliche, but just be yourself. After your freshman year you'll see that there really was nothing to panic about. Just stay on top of your studies and HAVE FUN! It's one of the most important times of your life and it's gonna fly by. I wish I could go back...

Absolutely. I just graduated from High School this past June. If you head into High School, how you head into middle school it shouldn't be a problem. I wasn't scared, but some people I knew were. It blows over fast, and if you have questions just ask your teachers. Try hard and don't be mean to your teachers, respect them and they will respect you. =)

yeah, it's normal to be scared. I started my freshman year this year and I was nervous as hell. But it's actually not as bad as people say it is. Just do your homework, listen to the teacher, stay out of trouble and you'll be fine.
