The T.V series "Touched by an Angel". It helped me go through one of the darkest times of my entire life. I still watch it and I wish they could make more shows like this. It also inspired me to become a better person.

this is probably going to sound retarded, but general hospital has been the equivilancy of therapy for me in recent years. parts of the story line have often reflected things that have happened in my own life. for example, a few years ago, my first daughter passed away when she was a week old. it was an extremely difficult time for me, and there was nothing that anybody could say or do to make it any better. then a few months later on gh, sam, who is the character i've always admired, went through a similar situation, except her baby was stillborn. seeing her experience the same loss that i was feeling made me feel like i wasn't alone. watching her deal with her greif and try to put her life back together again is what motivated me to do the same. in a time when i had lost everything, it helped me find the strength to get back on my feet again.

Just Like Heaven with Reece Witherspoon and Mark Ruffalo is a great inspirational movie. Plus it is very sweet and romantic. In Her Shoes has a good message about sisters....

Tuesdays With Morrie. The movie is very inspiring, about a man who is soon to die from a disease. He uses the remaining time of his live to teach others to live theirs properly. He shows them that it's ok to let love in and let it back out. It's ok to cry, ok to be sad and pity yourself. But he also lets them know that there is a time to move on and to break away from worldly things and it's also ok to die because it's the only 100% thing in this world.
