I'm not big on sit-coms, but I loved watching Drew Carey & company play improvisation games on "Whose Line It It Anyway?"
It takes talent and bravery to work improv with a live audience and get as many howlingly funny moments as Drew and the gang did on a regular basis. I wish it was still running, I wouldn't miss a show.

New Adventures of Old Christine in the sitcom format, but Boston Legal is pretty funny, too, even though it's not a true sitcom

Classic: The Dick Van Dyke Show.
Current: Can't really think of one recently. The last comedy I really enjoyed was Cheers.
