I'm currently taking my Master of Arts in Nursing (MAN) in the University of Santo Tomas in Manila. I was just wondering if I finish it would it be credited in the US or would i have to take Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) to be have a high level job or would by MAN suffice? Help me guys!

The particular name often just depends on the culture of the specific institution where the degree is awarded.

Regardless, moving from country to country in the health profession often requires some type of additional testing or certification.

I wish I could answer truthfully. I know there are many from other countries in the medical field where I live and I am sure they had their education from the country they come from. But, I not sure what they actually have, sorry.
