I'm 24 having my own established business. I know a grl who is 24 yrs and having one son. Most importantly I love her nd she also luv me. She got married when she was 20 yrs and her husband was 38 at that time. He use to give her mental nd physical tourcher. Now she wants to get seprate but our hindu laws says if she wants divorse then kid will taken care by her father. And its next to be impossible.

According to our hindu law if the kid is 5 yrs then he will live with his father only. Can any one suggest me a good lawyer and suggest me how I can take the grl & kid from that hell?

Hi, as I understand it, being a Hindu is a religion, a way of life. There are laws of that religion but they are NOT laws of the land.
Every faith has it's own guidelines, as Christians we follow the Ten Commandments, none of which include beating each other and takng the children away.
If this girl is really unhappy and being beaten and abused then her first move should be OUT of the abusive relationship but not straight in to your arms. If she and the child are suffering, they should have a period of respite(rest) before moving in to any new relationship.
I would suggest that the kindest thing you could do for her is to help her move out and far away staying with god kind relations or friends. Then a lawyer should be consulted to put a restraining order on the husband, this means he then can not come near her until courts rule otherwise.
As much as you love her, if you really love her, then you will give her all the assistance that she needs but still keep your distance and not try to put her in to another relationship immediately. She and her child need to find peace and feel safe before they can move on.

Well she has to prove in a court of law that her husband subjects her to torture. the norm about the cutody of the child is just a norm and the court can give the child to the mother if she can prove that she is capable of taking care of him/her.
Let her also try to separate through mutual consent if the guy is agreeing to it. it will ensure a quick divorce.
The best thing for u is to wait till she can get divorce. Unless she is divorced you can not marry her.
Also ask urself if u r generous enough to take care of the child in case she gets a divorce and marries u.

she is so lucky to have someone care about her the way u do. get a good attorney, must have documentation of what he has done to her, and pray that the husband doesn't get the child.guess i am not familiar with hindu law, but if the poor woman is being tortured, doesn't hindu law protect her as in the uninted states?
