Of course. A friend of mine is a singer and she sings at local clubs 3 nights a week and her husband babysits.

If you mean the big time then you'd get paid loads and be able to hire a nanny to look after your little one while you were working.
The great thing about working in an industry like that is that there are no set hours and certainly not a 9-5 job so would fit in perfectly with motherhood.

Madonna (pop singer) does it, as does Lesley Garret (opera singer). So it must be possible - and the more successful you are the easier it will become, because you'll be able to afford a nanny.

I think it's possible to be a mother and pursue any career. Just don't forget what your priorites are.
