if they worked closely together then almost definitely. if they work for same company then more than likely. and if they work for separate companies then it will prob happen a little in the beginning and then taper off.

Yes it does distract , I've seen several cases through the years and the two people are more interested in flirting and playing around than work in every case .

In our company - there is a couple that were not dating when they got hired. They started talking more and now are dating.
Not sure if it was because they were distracting each other - but their desks used to be right next to each other - where now they are across the building from each other.

It's possible to keep it professional. My wife and I work together in the same company in the same building working the same hours. You just need to know that while you are still husband and wife, you have a job to do and there will be time for romance when you get home.
