Live within your means and 'Pay yourself first' which is a concept that involves putting X amount away routinely and not touching it. Some reasonable risk investments such as index funds and bonds would be one place to put this money.
Buy property as early as you can, keep it in a resonable state of repair, if you can rent it out to cover yours costs then even better. Add properties to your portfolio with a long term view.
If you dont have a college education then get one, degreed workers earn much more over their working life than non degreed workers.
Sounds easy doesnt it, if it was everyone would be doing it.
Oh and one more tip from me.... dont ever tell your spouse where ALL the money is..... divorce can wipe out in a day what took you a lifetime to build :)
Finally.....set a goal to work towards that you will enjoy, just making money for the sake of it isnt much fun.

job is great but you can't get rich working.....That's false. If you have an idea and work it you can become very rich. Use your imagination and common sense.
Ley me enlight you on a money endeavor I took and ended up having the time of my life and made plenty I mean plenty of money too.
I got me a trailer and a bathtub and rigged up a pump to work on 12V and a nozzle sprayer. I set it up for people to walk their dogs up the platform over the grill on the tub and spray them down for ticks and fleas. The solution flwons into the tub out the drain and back into the pump and out the nozzle.
I took in over $300.00 each and every Saturday during my Dog Dipping days and I tell ya, I had fun.
All you do is is advertise free dog dipping in the paper and all over every Sarturday at your location. get your license so that you are legal and a permit.
Put you a big Jar on the table by the dipping tub and write on it tips.
Put about $12.00 in the jar when you start and when it is over, you will have cash my friend.
I have never been bitten by any dog whileDipping, it is the best time I have ever had dipping dogs and when I moved I ended my venture.
The only enemy I had was local Vetenarians that hated my free dipping taking money from them....lol
Thats life!!!

There is not such thing to money without working unless you win the lottery.
Firstly, you have to have a great idea, believe in it no matter what. Stick to it and work your butt off. Everyone will think your idea sucks and tell you a hundred and one things why it wouldn't work. But what will work can only be known if you have the guts to stick to it and find out how to make it work. It helps if you are always optimistic. When you fail, take it as a lesson. If you succeed always stay humble and never be blinded by wealth, so that you can stay grounded and make the right decisions. Always try to learn new things, read up, and be educated. Know the law, and know how to count your money. Lastly, never make the same mistakes twice.

The main source is EDUCATION. Depends on what you do and what you LIKE to do and what you ENJOY doing. Go for training in these preferred fields. eg: if you like medicine, go for education in this field. If you like selling things, go for education in this field, some has already mentioned Real-estate. Real-estate is a good field to go into, people will always need homes to live in. Car sales is also a good field, people need transportation to get to where they are going and back again. The main key is to pursue a career in what YOU enjoy and like. This way you will be good at what you do and you won't get a sever case of "Burn Out". I have known people who went into Real-estate because they knew there was good money and rewards in this field. It's not a laid back plush job. It takes ambition, perseverance, and hard dedication with lots and lots of hours just to get started. Once you get started, you can't quit there, or your sales will go down and you will go down with it. Car sales is good if you want to work steady hours (9:00 - 5:00). New cars is your best bet, although Used Cars bring in money too. If you have a gift for gab and a natural born charmer, you would do great in this field. A gift for gab brings another thought... "Lawyer", Attorney's make good money. If you have the gift for gab, and love to argue a point, and have the natural ability to turn a situation around to your favor, then hey, this is for you!! Think about what you want then make it your goal.
