What do you mean by best? (Most satisfying, best paying, etc.) Also, what do you mean by profession? Do you mean job or what are usually considered "professions"--law, medicine, teaching, nursing, and even librarianship.
As far as I am concerned the best profession is the one you enjoy doing. I am a librarian and enjoy doing library work. Someone else might find it boring or just "not their thing." I would not like to teach on a daily basis, nor would I like being entrusted with peoples' lives, as doctors are.

The best profession is the one that excites the heck out of you so much that the anticipation of going to work is like when you were a kid waiting for christmas. Only You can answer that
