If I remember correctly, you need to go to the Help menu and click "About Internet Explorer." In the dialog window that pops up, it will tell you several things, including the version and possibly the build.
Hope this helps- I haven't used IE for a long time... I use Firefox on the PC and Camino on the Mac.

Open the Internet explorer and click on the help button the click on about Internet explorer. There it will list the version

Click on "Help" located on the top toolbar. At the bottom of the list it will say "About Internet Explorer." The information will appear on the box.

from help menu click on 'about internet explore' which will show you version and other copy right information. This is applicable to most of the microsoft products :-)

open internet explorer and then look up top on the browser where it says Help.. then click help and you will see about Internet explorer..click that and it tells you what version you are currently using

Go to start button, go to all programs, go to accessories, then go to system tools, then to system Information, there is where you will find all information about your computer software you have on it, and give you info on hardware of your computer
