I want to use my PCI dial-up modem like a regular phone.?

I have a mic and speakers. I am using WinXP Pro. The modem is PnP w/o a CD. XP detects and installs the modem. I need to use it just for manual dialing like a regular phone but I do NOT want to pay for anything. I need a FREE solution that is not a limited trial. The best thing would be if theres something already in XP. I use DSL for my internet btw.

alot of times the modem will come with software that will let it act as a phone. if you don't have the software, go to the manufacturer for the software, or driverguide.com
