Your a new mom? Congrats!
I have several recommendations:
1. Most importantly drink a LOT of water! Skin is best moisturized from the inside out. If you are nursing, a lot of your fluid is going to produce breast milk and not getting to your skin! You will also produce more milk if you are staying well hydrated. I know from experience it's sometimes hard to pour yourself a drink 8 times a day...so send hubby to the store to buy you one of those GIANT insulated mugs with a handle on it. Fill it up in the morning and drink drink drink!
2. NEVER EVER use bar soap on your face! Very drying.
3. I could send you a sample of Arbonne's "Intelligence" skin care line. It's absolutely wonderful. My daughter uses it, I do, and my mom does too!
Just let me know and I'll get it in the mail to you along with ordering info.

The TimeWise® Microdermabrasion Set was developed
for anyone with fine lines and visible pores or dry, flaky skin who wants to see healthier, younger-looking skin immediately.

Step 1: Refine is an advanced exfoliator
that immediately energizes the skin to reveal a more radiant, healthy-looking surface. This creamy white lotion with exfoliating crystals:
• feeds and nourishes the skin from below through increased microcirculation. This brings oxygen to the top of the skin to stimulate circulation creating a healthy, more radiant glow.
• reduces the appearance of pores by effectively removing the dead skin cells that naturally form inside and around the outer edge of every pore.

Step 2: Replenish is immediately absorbed into the skin to instantly smooth and soften. This lightweight, opalescent lavender serum:
• feeds and nourishes the skin from above with an exclusive Mary Kay® triple tea complex.
• aids the rejuvenation process and protects against environmental pollutants.
• soothes the skin and helps to bring it back in balance.
• prepares the skin for the next step in skin care.

HOW IS IT DIFFERENT FROM OTHER MICRODERMABRASION PRODUCTS ON THE MARKET?
Many brands offer only one step. Others merely offer a moisturizer as the second step. Step 2: Replenish really separates Mary Kay’s microdermabrasion set from
the competition. It is a rich serum, containing vitamins, antioxidants and anti-irritants that nourishes the soft, smooth skin revealed by Step 1: Refine.

if you want more info please email me at kaylexasmom@marykay.com. I can send you samples to try and see if you like it.

First use an exfoliating cleanser. St. Ives apricot is cheap, smells and works great. Then at night, after cleaning your face, use some good ole' fashioned NIVEA. It comes in a dark blue jar and you can buy a big jar of creme or a little one for a few bucks pretty much anywhere. It's thick, and they haven't changed it in like 30 years because IT WORKS. A week of that, and your face will be back to normal. It smells good, and doesn't clog pores. Works well on hands and feet too.

Have you tried any oil on your face? Take a little jojoba, grape seed or sweet almond oil, add a few drops of water, and massage gently onto face. This helps a lot. You can do this whenever your face feels dry. Also take care of your diet. Your diet should be rich in good fats. Start taking omega 3 fatty acid supplement if you are not taking fish on a regular basis.

Drink plenty of water to keep your skin hydrated and use a face pack of ripe bananas and honey. You can find more cheap, effective and natural home remedies for dry skin at http://www.wellnesstalk.org/dryskin.html
