OK I really need your guy's help on this one. Theres this family, who is very poor. Its actually my daughters paternal grandmother. She's had 14 children. Two passed away in infancy, but she is now the mother of 12 and grandma of 17. But she is soo poor! Their house is falling apart, it rains in their home, and the 4 boys that are still young have no clothes that fit them! They are such a wonderful, loving, religeous family and all I want to do is find a way to repay this woman for what she has done for her children ! I am looking for volunteers, or a program that will help rebuild her home or something that will help her! She needs a break! They are a mormon family, she homeschooled all 12, grows her own food because they cant afford to buy it, and makes her own clothing, I just want to give her a break so if you know of anything that can help please let me know : 0 )

Contact HUD (Housing & Urban Development)...Habitat for Humanity...also try the builders/contractors association in your area...or some of the help programs on TV such as Extreme Makeovers with Ty Pennington...they helped an area family here and did a wonderful job

There is that one television show that does rebuild remodel homes for people in all different type of situations. There as well should be people within her own mormon community that would be willing to step forward jump in and help redo the home as well help with food etc. The mormon community typically if very loving and giving from a friend I know that is of mormon faith and very poor. Talk to her church bishop. Or roll up your sleeves and do as much as you can. Good luck.

Take this request to the Mormon Relief Society. They are directly or indirectly the cause of it. The church says members are obliged to give 10% gross tithe in part to help people like her.
