BEST idea. I think that's it is a must... just because that way you know how that other person lives and all their goods and bads about them, and if there are any bad habits that u don't like then they can maybe change it or don't do it while ur home??That way you don't have any surprises when u do eventually do get married and move in together, which keeps u from fighting about the stupid little things.
I lived with my husband for about 3 years before we got married.

I want my fiance to move in with me---we both live with his parents and it is hell! It really stops the maturity and freedom to have a normal adult relationship, so i think that if you are planning on getting married and living together for the rest of your life, (sealing the deal), then why not give it a try before you are legally tied to each other. Renting an apartment is much cheaper than divorce! Besides, you would never purchase a car without taking it for a test drive, right?

Everyone's own choice. I feel same as test driving a car, trying on shoes, taste testing all the same just marriage is a lot bigger decision. Suppose to be life long but not happening now a days. Better to live together than marry and divorce so soon.

Good and bad - some people say that if you live with someone before you are married, you would never get married.
Either way, you have to go through a period where someone's habits go from cute to annoying (usually 6 months down the road)

I personally believe that living together before marriage is vital! If you are about to marry someone, you need to know if you are truly compatible in every aspect of life. You could be totally happy until that dreadful day that you have to live together. I recomend it.

Good idea if you are unsure if she is right for you. But if you are unsure about that then why are you thinking of marrying her? If you do live with her without being married then why get married. Why buy the cow when you can get the milk for free?

Depends. Bad if the relationship is unstable. Good if you are engaged. You want to be sure that after you invest in a relationship and pay for things together that you won't get royally screwed in the end.

VERY good. i've known 2 couples (both were engaged to be married) who have broken up in big part because of living issues. U give up being able to leave and go home when somthing is too much. you kinda change your life when u move in with someone. u dont want that change to be for the worse. i can understand religious opposition tho.

BAD,and if you respect ( her) you should never ask her to do that ! The BIBLE says in Genesis 2:24 (Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall ( cleave ) unto his wife; and they shall be one flesh. Genesis 2:18-24 says marriage is GOD's idea. Read Proverbs and it will give wisdom to young men.

probably a good idea....... my wife and I dated for 8 years before we got married and I still learned some new things about her that I never knew after we were married and living together.
no matter how long you've known someone you dont REALLY know them till u live together.....in my opinion.
we are still happily married with 2 great kids
