Usually by the tenth time I've heard something, it sounds boring.. why is that?

That's why I get so pissed of when a radio station plays the same song 20 times in one day. People get tired of hearing the same thing over and over again. Right now, I'm listening to Sirius radio, and it's a song I've heard like 5 times in 2 days, and it's really pissing me off.... It's irritating. So, that's why you get tired of a song after hearing it 10 times in a row...

I've noticed the same thing myself. I think it's because we have such easy access to a song we like now. We can download it, buy the CD, or hear it on the radio. it's coming at us from every angle. Back in the 50's, they didn't have this convenience so when they happened to hear a song on the radio, they were ecstatic. They could buy the record but they could only listen to it at home since they had no portable devices. Another factor is that music is becoming boring. Practically everything's been done and people are already tired of it.

Spread out how many times you listen to it. I think that happens to all of us, especially when they play the same thing on the radio all the time.

They overplay all new songs to the point of vomit. If you like the song buy the cd and listen to that instead. You don't have to listen to the radio you can use your ipod.

You listen to it too much. Once you know all the words, theres no point listening to it anymore. Just listen to different songs you like all the time.

Im like that ill really like a song and then they over kill it on the radio or i buy it and play it to much. You are not alone!

Probably because they play it to death...I don't listen to the radio for that reason...I prefer my CD's....I have a choice.

its prolly b/c its over played even when u dont realize your listening to it u are b/c its every where all new songs are like that.
