is the only reason that the xbox 360 has good graphics is becase of the hd cables and will it look good graphics to if i put in av cables ??? please explain cuase im confused

The cables do not affect the graphics, graphics is just one thing. The HD cables affect the visual appearance of the graphics, such as it will be sharper, clearer, and the colors will be more solid and bold. Using an ordinary cable on an ordinary TV it will still look good, aside from the sharper, clearer visuals. HD cables will only work if you have a HDTV.

The standard cables that come with the 360 are S-Video cables and while the picture isn't as sharp as say a component cable or a HDMI cable the graphics still look pretty fantastic. I have noticed some games though where small fonts are used where the writing is not as clear as it would be with a hi-def picture but I wouldn't let that put you off getting one.....
