That is sexist. We live in the 21th century and I am not sure when and where are you living now!
Wake up.

Well I am sorry to say that there are very many successful working women and not all of them have families to begin with and you should never assume that all women even want to have families.
If you are going to use nonsense logic about why women are selfish for wanting to work then I just have to say what would some people do if they didn't have two incomes in their household? For some families it is absolutely essential that both the man and woman work. Stop being so closed minded and realize this is 2006 not the 18th century, women are no longer property and are very capable (when they have a mature spouse to work with) of both working a job and sharing house work with a mature man.

I thank God every day that my fiance is nothing like you. What sort of backwards world do you live in? Aside from the fact that our failing economy forces families to have two incomes to survive, how exactly does a woman staying at home make 'pure evolutionary sense'? We don't live in the stone age, and even our bodies have evolved. Our teeth, for example, have evolved over the years to correspond with our changing omnivorous diet. Our intelligence and emotions have likewise evolved (well, most of ours, anyway).
I am a strong, independent woman who does not *need* a man. I chose a man to love and support me the same way that I love and support him.
And when was the last time you clubed an animal to death for food and fought a bear with your bare hands to 'provide' for your family, caveman?
That's what I thought. If you think about it, the main problem of the world are people who think like you do.

ok first of all you are a true dumba**. i think you are an insult to men.. i am sorry but if men are so much "better" than woman why dont they have the babies and raise them. you want to know why cause they cant take the pain and they would go crazy with all the stuff to do! woman can work and still have a family. i work and keep the house clean and cook. my husband helps not because he has to but because he wants to. if you are still thinking like that maybe you should go back to the 1950s where people still think like that. good luck in life cause i know you probably wont have a lot of women on your side!

My husband can't work, he is disabled, so what then smart ***? Get with the program. I am a hell of a woman, because though my husband stays home, he helps me cook, but I do the majority of the work plus hold a job, so I put you to shame! Women are and have been equal, we still have a long way to go though. Get use to the fact that women are strong powerful and beautiful. God knows where you are from, but do me a favor stay there.

wow, you're just trying to pick a fight, aren't you? get out of the fifties, man. these days it's virtually impossible to raise a whole family on one income, it just doesn't work that way. my fiance and i both work full time, and we are just barely getting by. i was a stay at home mom until our daughters were a year old, but in order to keep a roof over our heads, we needed a higher household income, so i had no choice but to go back to work. me working IS providing for the family. we are an equal partnership, we both work, we both cook, we both clean, and we both take care of our daughters. and i am just as loyal to him as he is to me. if i were to be "selfish", i would sit on my *** at home all day and expect my fiance to support a family of 4 by himself when he makes a whole $13 an hour. "pure evolutionary sense"? you are a f*ucking moron.

Thank you for giving us your opinion oh wise and all powerful man. My day has been enhanced just by your very presence on the web. It is indeed selfish to go out, work all day, come home, help the kids with homework, cook dinner, wash up and do the laundry. Perhaps we should be more like the Taliban. Now, where's my burqa?

no way. women are best everywhere they can do anything. i know women do well everywhere. you are saying like that cause men do not want to work what women do. cause its a lot of a hardwork to do what women do. women work at workplace not to prove they are superior but because they love it and they want to. i dont say men cant do anything but i feel both are equal and its only insulting to those people who have that kind of a mind. theres nothing insulting at all.

Your right, women are not just like men, they go to work all day and make their money, too, then they go home and still have the main responsibility of cooking, cleaning, and childrearing. They work 3-4 times as hard as men and generally get paid less! Get over yourself!
