It depends on what stage you are in in your life.
If you are young and have a family to support I recommend the well paid one. They don't call it work for nothing! I can put up with a bit of job dissatisfaction in order to be a better provider for my family.
However, as one gets older and the responsibilities as family breadwinner relax (whenever that is....) you owe it to yourself to work because you want to, not because you have to.

I would truly choose a satisfying job. As I have recently learned you will be searching forever for a well paid one. When you make money you often feel you are worth so much more and you are never satisfied to what you are a accustomed too. But having a job that is satisfying makes the money you get seem to be worth it. If you can wake up and love going to work money comes in close second. Personally I have went to school and majored in almost every field there is and I finally found that career that I am satisfied in. I have made a little money to a lot of money and regressed back to a little money for sacrifices of being satisfied.

That's a good ?. I've been struggling with the same thing. Seeing as how my current job is neither satisfying nor well paying I guess anything would be better. But I would have to say that I would rather have a satisfying job than a well paying job. I hate coming to work. I don't like nor respect most of the people I work with. They make it very difficult to have an upbeat, positive manner all day. I try to make the most out of a bad situation until I can find something better but I would much rather be happy about going to a job that I LIKE to go to than HATE the job that pays my bills.

It depends between the difference in salary. For example a satisfying job at 50K and another job at 75K, I would choose the job at 50k if this is enough for my need and those of my family. What is important is to know that you can live comfortably with the salary you get. There is nothing better than to get to work knowing you will spend a nice day.

No doubts, no regrets...a satisfying job.
I'm a stay-at-home mom. I used to be the assistant manager of a loan company.
I'd never trade in all those hugs and kisses, being class Mom, or knowing I'm raising my own children with my own values instead of having to pay someone else to do it for any amount of money! The safety issues alone are worth it!

I'll take the money, chances are I can make that job a pleasure too.
I will then save as much as I can and if the job turns into a nightmare I'll take the satisfying job and I'll have a stash of savings as well
(BTW I really did this - lol)

The vast majority of working people work for a living and a small minority live to work (passion). The high paying jobs usually also carry a high level of stress. Perhaps you could one day turn the satisfying job into a well paying one too. Open your own business.

A job is a job, in my opinion, and of course Id rather be other places that I can describe as satisfying so Id choose the well paying one , cause id enjoy my job if it served its purpose,(making money) and I can have better financial means to enjoy my free time doing what I enjoy more than being @ my job...

Well paid, I am talking about above $100,000 per year enough so I could retire than take a satisfying job and not care about the money.

I would take the money. I have a family to support, paying that college tuition will be VERY satisfying! Only a very self centered person would choose a "satisfying job" based only on money.
