How about a make up lesson?

Last year my husband bought me a gift voucher for a make up lesson from Absolutely Beautiful, and it was such a great idea, I made an appointment and a really nice lady came home and spent two hours teaching me how to do my make up, I had so much make up and didn't use most of it, after the lesson I started experimenting with colours and now I have a different look for every occasion and to match every outfit!

After the lesson everyone was complementing me on how nice I looked and beautiful my make up was whenever I did my make up. Some people even ask me for tips now!

A massage- find a good therapist. Not a pamperer at a beauty salon but a bona fide holistic therapist with a good qualification in bodywork including deep-tissue massage and neuromuscular therapy. A woman is always best. An hours session should be enough to have your mother feeling great mind, body and soul. Good luck.

I collect you're acquaintances with the boys mum and dad or a relative. If the two is real grant a weekend babysitting to the mum and dad, during the weekend you are able to spend time with the two year previous, take him to parks, zoos etc. that's a super birthday latest for a baby that has each thing. youngsters have a tendency to tire of their toys etc and fogeys have a tendency to purchase them extra issues to maintain them busy or amused. enjoying make belive and spending time with them is a extra effectual present then something which you would be able to wrap. in case you desire to wrap some thing take photos of the places which you will take him and the flaws which you will do positioned them in a splash photograph album after which wrap that up. then you certainly can upload the photos of you and him at those places as quickly as you pass to them.

Some good memories, lots of thoughtfulness and some love.

If she already has everything, why not buck the consumerist trend that surrounds Christmas and actually give a gift that someone needs: you can give her (and yourself) a lovely fuzzy warm feeling and buy a goat, alpaca, chickens or trees (or any one of a number of interesting and useful items) from www.oxfam.org.uk and know that your simple gesture has helped a family stay alive, together, well-fed and healthy.

Five things every woman needs in her wardrobe, but few of us have all of them :-)

plain good quality leather gloves (if in doubt of the colour choose to match her hair)
black velvet or satin evening bag
velvet scarf (if in doubt of the colour, choose to match her eyes)
big fluffy bathrobe
plain gold bangle

If your lucky Mum has all of these, consider getting her something a bit different - a starter kit for a herb garden or calligraphy or jewellery making or a luxury cook book with lovely photos as well as recipes....

Your time - plan a special day for just the two of you to do something together like spend the day volunteering at an animal shelter or homeless shelter.

Make a donation to a cause that she loves such as AIDS or Cancer research or the organ transplant organization.

Buy a star and have it named after her -

Make her something from your heart. Make a photo colauge of you growing up, collect some pictures of your as a baby, toddler, and school age and up to your current age, you might need to take one photo for this. I had make one of these for my step-father he is also very hard to buy for. He Loved it.

Write some of your memorys that go with each picture and put in inside of the picture frame as the backing this is really neat and I think that she would love to see and share your memories of your childhood.

What ya think??
Good luck and best of wishes for the holidays!!

Get her a gift certificate for one of those customized color-matching make-up/clothing sessions. Those tell her which colors are best for her, which are worst, what will go with what, etc. If she's very feminine, she might love that.

Photo Albums always goes over well when you include a little basket of snacks ie cheese, breads, wine & chocolote. A nice fragrant candle and a floor full of pictures and Mom is good to go.

Make a memorie! Get tickets to a show or play she will like and take her. Go to the Oprah show, weekend cruise, ski trip, girls weekend away. She'll appreciate the time with you more than anything!
