Generally speaking the people on yahoo answers don't get under my skin. Actually I am generally laughing at the ignorance openly displayed in here most of the time.(the only thing that has really pissed me off is the employment of the intellectually defunct violation monitors) Anyways, a few minutes ago a pegnant smoker asked a q? about quitting for the health of the child and people got extremely abusive. I would venture to say that this may have been the first time I was upset about at the participants because of their attacks on a woman that should be calm and collected right now.
My q? is, why do I take things more seriously when a pregnant woman is involved?

I believe it's because you are more compassionate then some that view these questions and understand the emotional changes of pregnant women.
The first answer I received for my question, the guy told me to slit my wrists... I guess that's the mentality and intellect of some idiot's that are allowed to put trash people that are already down.

How can you not be? A pregnant woman is helping to bring a new & wonderful being in to this world. She is vulnerable and precious...even if she doesn't realize it.

I don't exactly get you, but it's probably you've seen too much pregnant ladies being abused and you don't like it, so you take things seriously because you really don't like it.

Probably because the woman was genuinely looking for help and got crap for it.
