I can't pass judgment on you b/c I frequently do the same thing. As for advice, I give myself false due dates. I completely convince myself that something must be done before the actual date. Example: Memo due for work on Thurs. I write on my planner memo due Tues.
Best of luck. Get it finished!

It sucks. I'm doing it as I type this.
Find out why you don't want to do it from the 5 reasons below, which are the main reasons people procrastinate. I'm guilty of all of them at least once.
Reason 1. You Haven't Really Committed to Doing the Job
Reason 2. You're Afraid of the Job
Reason 3. You Don't Place a High Enough Priority on the Activity
Reason 4. You Don't Know Enough to Do the Task
Reason 5. You Just Plain Don't Wanna!
Check out the source, it will help a lot!

Is it "wrong", NO, but I think if you read your question, you will see the answer. When you leave stuff until the last possible moment, you cheat yourself out Of the time needed to do it well, you end up getting totally stressed out because now you have to scramble to throw something together that is barely acceptable. Believe it or not, this will translate into your entire lifestyle and you may never know the happiness that achieving your full potential can bring you. If you want to get the most out of your life, grab the bull by the horns and do whatever you have to do, pleasant or unpleasant, do it as soon as it is practical and give it your absolute best.

Some people work great under pressure. I suspect that is why they put things off until last minute.
I am a procrastinator. I have perfected the art
of "last minute hectic". lol There is nothing wrong
with putting things off. Since I put things off I can't sit in judgement of anyone. What I do is
decide how long it will take me to complete what-
ever task I don't want to do right away and plan
accordingly. You are the only one who can help your
self. No one on here can make you stop putting things off. My only suggestion is to create some
kind of planner and try and organize you time more
wisely. This takes discipline(sp?) and that is a
do it yourself project. Try sticky notes to remind
yourself to start and complete a project. Put these notes on your computer. Good luck.

I do that alot and I end up regretting. the best thing to do is to push yourself to do what ever it is because if you keep putting it off you will be rushing yourself and be all stressed out when you come around to doing it late. The earlier you push yourself, trust me it will make you feel good and Boy1 does it lift a heavy weight off your shoulders.
