Cellulite is caused by two things, 1) Fatty tissue and 2) Connective tissue. The appearance of cellulite is caused when the width of the fatty tissue exceeds the width of the connective tissue and when the connective tissue loses elasticity.

The first can be taken care of primarily by diet and working out. Drink your fair share of water, don't eat too much and work out to maintain your metabolism. The second is more problematic and gets worse as you age because collagen is not regenerated so the tissue becomes less elastic and of course most people gain weight as they age because of a less active life style and a drop in metabolism.

There are treatments out there that are supposed to be able to help with both the fatty tissue and the connective tissue. The treatments reduce the fat and provide elasticity to the connective tissue. Some of their names include Mesotherapy, Velasmooth and Endermologie. Explanations for all can be found on the attached site.

cellulite is formed by two ways, one it is genetic and two, it is fatty cells clumped together. If it is the first, you will never get rid of it, but you can reduce it and exercise. if it is the second, then exercise should do the trick. Cardio reduces fat in the body while weight training tones. both are needed.

May seem a surprise...

1. Eat good food, at right amounts (don't over eat), fruit and veg, as well as red meat (a good cut, not burgers or anything like that) once a week.
2. Exercise.
3. Feel good, be happy

First of all, cut out all sodas and caffeine products plus sugars and artificial sweteners. Drink lots and lots and lots of water. Keeping yourself well hydrated translates into soft, dewy skin that glows. You should also moisturize your skin twice a day and you can use a lotion that firms up skin. Palmer's has a great one and it's cocoa butter based.
