I believe the song is from the 60s- it also sounds very psychedellic; I think the title of it is 'Painted Air' but I could be wrong; I only heard a homemade-copy of it off a tape recorder over 15 years ago and it sounded really cool; there would be this cheesy fast-pace organ music with breaks where the person would recite, not sing, the lyrics which are about the cold city and a pedestrian getting hit by a car:
"cars...
daytime and night...
running red lights (other drivers wont yield)
people stand around
tears touch the ground (and soon dry away)"
do you know who made this?

There don't seem to be any songs called 'Painted Air' on the net that I can find, but there is/was a band called Painted Air. They're listed as psychedelic too, so I assume that they wrote the song.
They weren't actually formed in the sixties, but that genre is listed as a strong influence for them.

I'm unsure of the song though, unfortunately.

I think you are talking about a song called DOA, by a band whos' name was Blood...something...Maybe Bloodrock. I could be wrong.
