well, do you deny that pms happens, emotional and mental reactions to the hormone changes right before and during the first of , womens periods?
pregnancy changes are much more then that, and more intense, add to that , most women have some fears or concerns, even in the back of their minds, about if things will go ok, will they be a good parent etc,,,,, its a stressful time,,,,,though it can be a joyous time, i think the hormones settle down some in the last few months of pregnancy, but then you start feeling physically more irritable,
finally, i would never judge if i hadnt even had the experience, and even then, like most anything, one persons experience will not be anothers,,,,

Many women have a completely normal life while pregnant: go to work, take care of their other children, etc, so, it might not be a excuse. Whatsoever, we women do like to be pampered due to our condition and I don't think there is nothing wrong about that, specially because we do need some special care.
OTOH, hormones are something you just can't control sometimes: and all of those process your body goes through are enough to drive anyone insane. Poor husbands who are the victims of our rages, but in a normal mature woman, those rages aren't supposed to happen everyday. And a mature husband does understand.

Being someone who has never been pregnant, you would never understand. It's like having your PMS ravaging through your body for months on end. CHanging hormones, changing mood swings, your body is foreign to you sometimes. Yes, mood swings happen, and women react in different ways. I can say that I was extremely hormonal and b*itchy...but I never told anyone I hated them or anything like that. I think that maybe after you walk a mile in a pregnant woman's shoes, you would change your mind...but be sure you get the swollen ankles too!

i dont want to be too rude, but like you said you have never been pregnant, those of us that have know that our bodies change very rapidly and we can be happy or we can be mad or sad or whatever, and in an instant our mood can change. hormones play a huge part in pregnancy and unfortunatly the other half is usually to blame. i am sure she didnt really hate her boyfriend, do you know how many women tell their husbands/boyfriends that while they are in labor? lol when you or if you ever become pregnant i am sure you will completely understand. its a differnt feeling and it will take you by suprise. you'll do things or say things with out even realizing you did or said that. its normal and everyone who has been there mother or father is probably use to it by now. :)

I'm on my second pregnancy now, and yes to an extent it's very real. My first pregnancy my hormones were okay, but I slept most of the time. This one I clean a whole bunch, and sometimes I just get easily irritated and moody. I don't call anyone names though, I think you might be thinking of labor.
Maybe it's just something you have to experience to really know about.

When pregnant yes us pregnant women can be very bitchy. Sometimes you can't control it,emotions and anger just flows out.Now I've never told my baby daddy I hated him because I know I will need him when the time comes. We may argue but when we do he knows why I yell and he does not get mad. It's sometimes also caused by lots of pressure with being sick and hurt. But I've also seen pregnant women abuse the advantage situation.

I don't think they purposely do it. I do think its hormones. When my sister is pregnant you stay away, but when shes not shes great to be with. I know some people who are the best to be around when they are pregnant. I think it really is a hormone thing.

Yes, someone who has never been pregnant would not understand what other women go through while pregnant. Do you think it is fair that women can use severe PMS symptoms in a murder case? It has happened! If women can go off during PMS why not during pregnancy?
