As you may guess, transforming your body requires modifying your lifestyle in two areas: Exercise and Diet

It turns out that your best friend will be resistance training (aka weight training).

Many women are afraid of resistance training because they think they will spontaneously evolve into one of those hideously muscle-bound women you see on the pump-you-up body building shows shown at strange hours on ESPN2.

But you need not worry. Find a personal trainer and tell them your objective of having firmer arms and legs. They will put you on a training program that is doable to fit your lifestyle and will help you gain a little more muscle mass. With lean muscle mass, you will burn more calories than you do now. If you keep your daily caloric intake constant, the extra chubbiness in your arms and legs will go decrease. Your new, long and lean muscles will firm your limbs and you will look great - and still look feminine.

Stay away from excessive cardio - that burns both muscle and fat and on many people - especially thin women like yourself - the muscle is burnt first. Cardio is good, but too much defeats your objective. I swim for 30 minutes, 4 times per week for instance.

Eat more protien as it is the building block for your additional muscle mass. Stay away from empty carbs - especially white flower, processed foods and sugars.

Eat good carbs - whole grains, high-fiber and vegetables and do not avoid fat - just eat good fats - those founds in nuts, avocados, olive oils and fish (espescially salmon).

As a male, I have my own problem areas, but the principles are absolutely the same. Following these principles I feel 10 years younger. The increase in energy you will experience will make you come back even more than the positive changes to your look.

Good luck!!!

there's only one hope for depression. That is an effective anti depressant medication. Depression comes from a checmical imbalance in the neurotransmitters and the brain and nothing in the world will alleviate unless you compensate for it. The right medication will do it. When you're depressed, you're unable to interact with a therapist by talking or be with or around anyone so talk therapy won't work. Being around people is a waste because the loss of interest makes it difficult to tolerate company and again, verbal interaction. You will have no desire for pets or taking care of animals as it's too labor intensive, too complex and your mind can't handle it. Excercise requires motivation which you have none. Until you can compensate for the chemical imbalance that's causing the depression and anxiety, none of these suggestions are useful.. Once you regain your sense of motivation and desire to do things, only then can any interaction or activity possibly help feel good.. There are ssri's, snri's mao inhibitors and trycyclic anti depressants. Some work better than others depending on the individdual. It is frustrating until you find one that works well with tolerable side effects. If none of these are ever an option, try ect (shock therapy)l

Exercises may be of help.

In the Beginning God created heavens and earth.
God gives you air to breathe and sunshine to enjoy.
God gives you water to drink and food to eat.
God gives you a wonderful body and sound mind, to live.
God loves you, and you are precious to Him.
Son of God died on the Cross to save us from condemnation.
Jesus’ love is boundless and everlasting.
We have the hope of Heaven through Jesus.
Life therefore has fantastic and glorious future!
(Digestion of above can even prevent depression and suicidal thoughts.)

Well there is no such thing as spot reducing, so you will have to start doing more cardio so you can burn fat and also incorporate weight training so you can tone those trouble zones. The combination of cardio and weigths will help you bun that fat and build lean muscle mass, so go for it!

Bicep curls, tricep extensions, shoulder raises

go to www.shapemagazine.com. I subscribe to this magazine and it is loaded with women's health/fitness information.
There you will find routines/workouts .

As the one person pointed out, you cannot spot reduce.

Diet is another key element. Eat a balanced meal with healthy snacks and elminate high fat content. It goes hand in hand.
