The best you can get, of course.
You can use any video card with any processor, as long as the motherboard supports both.
If you can get a PCI-E motherboard, good, you have a wide variety of video cards to choose from.
If only AGP motherboards are available for your processor, get an X800 or 7800 AGP card. Those are the most powerful ones available for AGP.

That depends... I wouldn't recommend the Pentium 4, but it sounds like that's the processor you want to use. You can use any motherboard as long as it's compatible with Pentium 4's, that means Socket 478, and has a PCI-Express slot for Graphics cards. I would recommend the Radeon 1650 Pro if you want great value for money. From there, simply the more money you spend the better the GPU's get. The Geforce 8800 GTX really is the top of the line card that you could have, but I wouldn't recommend combining that with a P4. I'd say the Radeon 1650 Pro should suit you fine.

I don't know what motherboard to recommend specifically, but get one that has a PCI-Express slot. Currently, PCI-E graphics cards are the most powerful available and are cheaper than AGP cards with the same power.

I have an ASUS-P5VD1-X Mobo with a BFG brand nVidia 7900XT. The motherboard was about $75, and the vid card was $300 at Best Buy. I can run F.E.A.R. (which is a graphics hog) at medium-high settings.

the ideal you may get, of direction. you ought to use any video card with any processor, as long because of the fact the motherboard helps the two. in case you may get a PCI-E motherboard, solid, you have a large form of video taking part in cards to compliment between. If in basic terms AGP motherboards are available in on your processor, get an X800 or 7800 AGP card. those are the main effective ones available for AGP.
