This is a list of some of my favorite books to read with my girls when they were babies--we got them all in board books so that as they grew a little older they were able to handle the books on their own, even chew on them a bit :)

Brown Bear Brown Bear, What do you see? Bill Martin Jr.--That is good as the baby grows.
I'll love you forever. (Robert Munsh--all of his books are fun as the baby grows)
Goodnight Moon. (Margret Wise brown)
At one month you may as well read the tv guide. As long as the baby hears you voice in a soothing manner he/she will like it. And any form of reading is good to demonstrate. (at one month it is only your voice she/he will be interested in but as the baby grows childrens books do so much to nurture their love of reading)

dr. suess , there is a book of songs and rymes and movements songs etc i love its fun for me and cadence who is 2 but no im not her moomie im to young 4 that lol but basically any small book that has lots of pictures and not very many words per page lol

books that are funny alot of colors numbers and easy words that help them learn the basic, stufff don't waste it, try education childrens books.
