The only way to know myself is to be myself,
yes, sometimes it can be very scary because
sometimes others want you to be who they
think you are, but they only see what they think
they know, still being myself exposes the me
in the now of my growth to be a true me whether
someone sees me or not, because the true me
can still edge between what others may think
they see ......
Like a red ball in a barrel with green balls still does
not change the red ball, yet the red ball can still be
true to being a red ball even among all the green
balls.......

Sometimes. I spent years trying to pronounce my words perfectly because I was picked on as a kid for my southern accent. Even as an adult people made fun of me at times. Not so much anymore! I don't let it bother me as much.

To be truely honest yes! When I first met my soon to be inlaws I was definatly afraid to be myself. They are extremely upper class (well some of them) and I was brought up blue collar. I just tried to use my best mannors and keep my mouth shut! I was afraid they were going to hate me. Now well its just the opposite! They love coming over to our house and seeing me and my fiancee and my son.
