Some people just t hought of the question ( like maybe an 8 year old) and have never asked it before. And some want to see how many different versions of the answer they will get. Also they haven't the wherewithall to look up the answer for themselves.
You don't have to be the one to answer it every time you see it.
If it bugs you, ignore it.
