This is very normal with men. Alot of men think this way, show him a picture of the female anatomy and point out exactly where his penis ends and where the baby begins and convince him that he will not reach the baby and hurt it.

if that does not work then tell him to only go half way or just have oral sex. Be patient mom to be, just like you are going through changes and feeling all these new wierd feelings so is he in a different sort of way, you look different to him and feel different too.

It should not hurt the baby, I have had 4 and none was hurt. If he is that concerned have him ask your DR. He can even call the ER I am sure they will tell him something. It didn't hurt me or the babies even up to the time I had them. Just get in a comfortable position. If it helps let him read this.

I went through this with my husband. So at my doctor's appointment I asked her right in front of him if it was safe and she assured him that it was. However, many men get this idea because they have heard that near the end of pregnancy sex can start labor so maybe he is worried that it will cause premature labor or a miscarriage. Try to ask him why he feels that it will hurt the baby. If he says something other than what is mentioned above, take him with you to the doctor and have the doctor explain it to him.

I would suggest he go to the doctor with and the both of you address the doctor with the issue or thought of him hurting you and the baby during sex. He may respond differently after hearing your doctor's response. I know that during this time for you that you might be more sensitive, so try not to be frustrated and pull in every source of information on that issue you possibly can.

Find some books on the subject of sex while pegnant. Or bring him with you to your next doctor's appointment and ask him/her straight out whether having sex will cause problems for the baby. The doctor will set everything straight.

If not, it's possible that there are other issues at play and you will have to talk to him in order to figure out what they are.

Was this guy born in the Middle Ages? Of course....there is the possibilty that sex with a pregnant woman is not stimulating as it is for some men. Theres always THAT fly in the ointment and he may be saying this to spare your feelings.

Thats why I'm here. i don't have to spare 'em. I just think rationally.

Yes. Been there, gone through that. He's being silly. You need to sit him down, and let him know how important this is. I've never gotten over the neglect that I felt when I was expecting - women need to feel loved and cherished twice as much as usual. Perhaps your Ob-gyn could speak with your husband.

Man, that dude doesn't know what he's missin'!!!! Prego sex is the best!!! My wife and I did it up to 7 months. Tell him how soft and pillowy it gets after 4 months. If he doesn't take advantage of that, there ain't a man in his family. And, he's just a dumba$$. Tell him you still need him to have sex with you. You still have needs.

Merry Christmas.
