They have their own criteria and I don't mind their judgment, we can just rephrase the question and post again if we badly need answers. They are people too who make decisions based on a set of rules, and there are just too many questions that gets thrown around to make excellent judgment on everything. Give them a little credit and kudos to them for keeping the Yaho Answers servers and this community alive and kicking.

Yahoo is a great forum for questions and answers. I've learned things from others' answers, and I've answered questions, for which people have thanked me. Nothing good comes without a price. What some may perceive as an honest question or answer may be perceived by those who screen these, as inappropriate. So that is the price paid for having a forum that addresses many categories and walks of life.

Just because a question may be "hypothetical" does not mean you can ask whatever question you like. Some questions may still be considered offensive, hurtful, or accusatory. Just because a sentence has a question mark behind it does not mean its an actual question either. Another way to say it is: just because you put a question mark behind a group of words does not mean you can say whatever you like.

I think they take the "reports" at face value and never see the said offensive question or answer.

I say it should take 8 complaints before anything is removed.
