dressed in their pajamas, and their hair was messy, and when they chewed their food, we heard it at our table. Whats up with people going out in public looking like they just rolled out of bed, and SMACKING THEIR LIPS when chewing. That is so nasty, we want to enjoy our food, not have to look and listen to you nasty types out there.

babybird,
You couldn't help but see this when your hostess is getting you a table next to these nasty people. So you HAVE to look.

Why would anybody go out in public with house slippers and pajamas on? Thats for in the home and not for others to see, no matter if it looks new. If people are that LAZY not to get dressed, then STAY at home.

The best thing to do, is go to the manager and explain the situation to him/her. Ask them if they would like to eat a meal, next to ape acting people. Then you demand your money back, after you have eaten half the stuff. Do leave a tip for the waiter/waitress. They could not help where you were seated. As long as their job was done professionally, and they kinda eased the misery for you, dont take it out on them. Yes I agree, people who are lazy and seem not to care about themselves, imagine what their home looks like, or worse than that, they could of had someone give them a free meal and they came as they were, . Maybe they dont have a home, or they live under a bridge, or worse than that, a card board box. Never judge a book by its cover. We never know whats going on in another persons life to see only a bit of them. And besides you may never see those people again. Just pray for them and ask God to bless them.

That is really pathetic, apparently these people knew nothing about having manners and much less self respect. I would have made a comment out loud if you were with someone. Like "Damn, that is so rude when you can here people eating, I came here to enjoy myself." I would have definetely rolled my eyes on the way out. If they would have said something, personally myself I would have expressed my opinion. Yeah, its America, they had the right to do that, but I also have my right to express my opinion and enjoy my meal since I did pay for it! Sorry you had to go through that experience.

That happens sometimes. I dont condone it but some people dont have the best of manners. I would have asked the waitress to move us or something like that. I'm not one to confront people, because I see it as everyone has their own ways and who am I to impose mine on them, no matter how rude. I just try to tell my children that thats not the way we act and move on to bigger and better things.

It's weird, I know! Twice, I've gone out of town to see my sister and stopped at Chick-fil-a for breakfast and found people coming in with pajamas and slippers! It's crazy! NO SELF RESPECT!

That's pretty sick, don't people take any effort to present themselves anymore. It's like getting out of bed to go to the trough. I would have asked for another table.

Ewww! I wouid've been beyond upset!!! smacking the lips while eating is one of my biggest pet peeves!!! If i were there, i'd want to punch them in the mouth but that would go against your question if you did it and it wouldn't justify you talking about how disrespectful that was of them. Clearly, society has let it self go, and the ones that aren't disgusting have to live with it.

some people just have no sense of decency anymore.
