There are 2 things that he may be speaking about. The first is "colic". This is a pain in your abdomen or bowels and often affects babies, especially newborns. It produces a lot of crying, gas, discomfort, and makes the baby raise up his/her knees towards his/her chest. The other possible thing he is talking about is a "cowlick". This is a tuft of hair that grows in a different direction from the rest of the hair. People with a cowlick have a hard time keeping their hair looking combed, because that one section of hair is always sticking out funny. I would suggest you ask your grandson what he is talking about, that will be the best way to find out.

I suggest going to WebMD and looking up colic. It is normal and occurs often in babies. Sometimes changing formulas is necessary.
