if you mean advertisements within the page (like flash ad's) then u'll have to download this piece of software on ur computer

i agree it can be annoying and does use up a lot of bandwidth. this method is not foolproof, yet it helps u block some content.
lol

Hey,
All you can really is block is pop-ups. If advertisments are part of the main content of a webpage you really can't block that unless you view your webpages in text only mode. That will eliminate all graphics and animated advertisments.
Sorry

Use firefox. It automatically blocks popups.
Also download the adblock extension for firefox, which allows you to selectively block certain servers from even loading on your computer (since many web pages have third-party advertisements)

Do Not use google tool bar. it "phones home" every time you use its funcionalities meaning it sends a packet to google telling them exactly what you're doing on you're PC. it's not malicious, but it can be monitored by others who will use it to their advantage and screw you over. download IP Cop, got to the help menu and search for ad blocking. turn that blocking function on, don't touch anything else.

Fascism is Roman nationalism (NAZI's weren't fascist's in line with definitionem). The call comes from fasciculum (it truly is the timber that roman leaders took with them). The chief (duce) became mussolini. They invaded Rome and took the pope as prisoner.
