I was just re-watching the first season, first episode, of The L Word last night and they came up with the finger statement. Supposedly, if you are gay, your ring finger will be longer than your index finger. If you are straight than your index finger is longer. This is true for both my wife and I, as well as for all of our friends and family (both gay and straight). Is is true for you?

I must be a very confused person sexually because my left ring finger is longer than my left index finger but my right index finger is slighly longer than my right ring finger (it's barely noticeable and, as far as I know, not the result of any accident).
I guess that would make me bi but I'm gay.

Yikes according to my ring finger I"m straight....my BF is not going like this.
With a longer ring finger one should be able to type "kimono" much faster which is kind of gay, I guess. (look at keyboard)
Never heard that before, but I have heard the werewolf/vampire thing before. I will now be watching ring fingers to find friends of Dorothy or werewolves!

Les here and ring finger is longer than index finger. Like lillielil my right is a tad taller, but on the left hand side it's really waaay taller.

I'm straight and my ring finger is smaller than my index finger. So yes I guess this is true. thats a neat fact!

Completely not true for me. My ring finger is shorter on both hands and im 165% lesbian. It just makes for good TV.

It's true for me. On my right hand my ring finger is a *tiny* bit longer, but on my left hand it's significantly longer. Weird.
