I work in an office with nine guys and I suspect one of them is gay...how do I get him come out.

You sound like you have a tendency to pry. If you were so close to him, you would be able to talk to him. And you would see that you were making him uncomfortable by bringing it up. If you cared about him, you would not want him to feel uncomfortable.
I guess what I am saying is that you are saying a lot more about yourself than you are saying about him. If the others are not gay, and have expressed anti-gay sentiments, you will make the situation very bad for him by exposing him, and by bringing it up.
Why would you want to do that?

you don't. He will come out in his own time if he is - it will just create a rift in any sort of freindship or work relationship if you force him out. If you are really dying to know than talk to him one on one and ask if he is seeing anyone. If he is gay he may try to "feel you out" first, to know if it is safe to tell you the truth. No matter what you find out do NOT spread it any further than yourself, again - he will tell eveyone when he is ready

He'll come out when he's ready. If you know for sure that he's gay and in the closet, you could let him know that you're supportive. Might make him feel a little safer at work at least.

Why do you feel this is any of your buisness? Unless he asks you for advice on "what's the best way to come out", I'd go back to work if I were you.

You need to mind your own business, which I take it, is supposed to be WORKING, since you are at work? It sounds like you need more work to do, as you are obviously trying to kill time. Get a life!
