10 years is a long time, sorry you're dealing with this but here's my personal advice. I know this sounds crazy but if you've ruled out diet, detergent, and the usual suspects it very well could be stress. I know this because I used to have the same situation. It went on for like 6-8 months every day with no warning. It sounds crazy but I personally was in a toxic relationship where this person literally stressed me out. It got to the point that if he touched me, I'd break out. It must have been psychosomatic because as soon as that relationship ended I never had that issue again. I tried every allergy pill out there, I did oatmeal baths, I severely restricted my diet, I kept the temperature in my bedroom a cool 63 degrees, something about getting hot make the hives worse. Turned out to be stress. The body has a way of getting your attention even when you don't want to listen.

actually you need to be careful what you put on your face. a lot of products will say hypoallergenic and there is currently no regulation or policy in what criteria they have to meet in order to say they are hypoallergenic. Try something organic and scent free. Take a look at this website

Make sure it's the base brand, dont get anything with perfumes or smells. just the basic (like store brand). Anykind of smell or added parfume smell makes me break out too, just buy the basic lotion and put it on over it, it helps me.

Yes buy products that are hypo allergenic. It should say it on the product. That way you wont break out. I have to buy products that are hypo allergenic because I have sensitive skin and it breaks out every now and then.

Go to a dermatologist, people seriously, if you have a skin problem don't try to fix it by yourself because maybe you'll make it worst.

yeah. hypoallergenic, white and unscented. it sounds like you may be allergic. try neutrogena. their products are usually pretty mild.
