I have viewed the 1981 world series trophy won by the l.a. dodgers and held it in my hands and have seen the teams engraved on the flags in descending order of finish. the trophy has not changed and still has the teams engraved. the winning team keeps the trophy each year, so it's not major league baseball giving the same trophy out every october and having to move the flags.

the pics of the trophy that are onlne don't get in and show the detail at all. they just give you the big picture of how it looks, but not the individual flags.
