Dems are now in control and have the power. The joke was that the only reason Republicans got caught in all the scandals was that they had the power. Will the Dems now have their hands in lobbiest pockets?

money and power corrupts even over time unfortunately; they forget that it is the constituents interests not their own personal interests; from the bottom to the top ; would be nice if you could give the boot prior to reelection then everyone would be a better politician knowing their home state constituents could call a vote to remove ; like a winner and runner up ; runner up would take over until next election ; good bye Mr. Politician or Mr. President;

Mostly, but there are good men in politics. It's just difficult to find them. I think Rick Santourum was a good guy. It's unbelievable that Bob-Freaky-Grin-Casey beat him. If there's anyone from Pennsylvania reading this, I would just like you to know that you are unbelieveably stupid to have put Casey into office.

No they are corrupt long before they go into politics as most of them are lawyers and the dumb voters just love being screwed.

Obama did it with the aid of being a reliable orator. He lies lots and sounds reliable doing it. Herman Cain had a message conservatives locate with yet he does no longer have the aura of Obama.
