There is anywhere from one to three inches of water on the floors (front & Rear), the windows stays fogged up in rainey weather. Water does not come in when the car is moving, just when it is sitting still. The car is a 1999 Dodge.

you also may have a broken seal at the bottom of your winshield and is leaking in under the dashboard. An idea is to bring it into a carwash and watch for where the water is leaking in from. It also might be coming in through the trunk under the backseat. If you can't find it, bring it to a mechanic and they can water test it.

Prolly windshield pinchwell. This happened to me several years ago on my 92 sundance. Started pooling water during rainstorms, and tested around the windshield.

I found the leak, and got some silicone, which sealed it up, so you can try that.

But, a few years after the first fix, it leaked again. The culprit was rust, and so I had to take the whole mess to a body shop. It was about $700.

So, a tube of $5 silicone may fix it, or you may need to spend much more.

Good luck.

Hmm--I'm thinking a door seal. Since its front & back, I'd check the condition of the rubber stripping near the center area. The fogging will continue as long as there's moisture in the carpets. and (oh joy) now you have to deal with mold & mildew. Vacuum it out good & douse 'er with Lysol spray. good Luck.

I was going to say you have a hole in your floor board but that would occur during movement. You have a hole where it is allowing runoff water from the car into the car. Check your rubber seals around doors and windows.
