I think Liverpudlians are lovely people, very generous and good hearted, had some fantastic weekends in Liverpool, lovely friendly city and can't wait to come back again.

Visited Liverpool in October for the first time to watch the Carling Cup game. I thought Liverpool was really nice amazing buildings and nice people.
The only downside is a few houses around Anfield, but you can see what people have done with money in the area and most of it looks amazing.
Would recommend a a visit to liverpool to anybody and I am a southern poofta.

When you read the local South Devon paper and study the "down at the magistrates court" section, well over 50% of convicted parties give an address from Liverpool or the surrounding area. How's that then?

I'm from South Africa living in London for 4 years already. I had heard bad things about Liverpool too. However, my best mate was born in Liverpool and she took me up there for a weekend. I absolutely loved it. My view has certainly changed.

Ive never been there so wouldnt like to pass judgement but Liverpool is portrayed quite badly on the tv - when I think of liverpool I think of Vicky Pollard type girls and guys in their tracksuits going ay ay ay! I know its nothing like that but the tv doesnt help!
